Boutique Bed & Breakfast · San Juan, La Union
"A mid-century gem reborn."From beautifully appointed rooms to in-house baked goods and signature drinks — everything at The Lewis House is crafted with care.
Built in 1960 by Architect Antonio Abad, The Lewis House was once the residence of San Juan's then-mayor — a landmark that stood quietly for decades, its mid-century proportions and handcrafted details weathering the years with grace.
In 2025, surfer-architect couple Buji Libarnes and Nikki Dela Paz-Libarnes undertook a careful restoration, preserving the original terrazzo floors, wooden louvres, and capiz chandeliers while breathing new life into each room. The result is a boutique B&B that feels less like a hotel and more like coming home.
Featured in Cosmopolitan PH, Spot.ph, Preview.ph, and Bluprint — and beloved by guests from all walks of life — The Lewis House is San Juan's most storied address.
